Dr. Jonathan Lasch and Caitlin Lynch, alongside Jean Schneider held Mentoring Motown as an initiative to boost Detroit youth’s engagement in classical music.
The Collective at the Schvitz
Caitlin Lynch, Jonathan Lasch, Sonia Lee, and Bob Mervak were all featured in Detroit’s bathhouse, The Schvitz’s event.
The Collective at Shinola
In ______ of 2019, Detroit’s Shinola Hotel hosted a Detroit Song Collective event, featuring several local performers including Dr. Lasch and Professor Lynch, Sonia Lee, Jean Schneider, David Simmons, Ashley Baylor, and Stephen Reisen.
Womxn’s Work
Held at Detroit’s historic art gallery and community space, The Scarab Club, Womxn’s Work served to showcase the creative work of those who have experienced or identify with womanhood in unique ways. Featured artist professions ranged from poetry, to song, and everything in between! Kathleen Kelly not only performed, but composed several pieces. Caitlin Lynch, Jonathan Lasch, Sonia Lee, and John Alexander Madison were all musical performers, and Vievee Francis, MARS Marshall, and Anna Kozler were all featured poets.
Christmas at North Hills
“Christmas at North Hills” was a seasonal event held at North Hills Church in Troy. Performers in attendance were Caitlin Lynch, Jonathan Lasch, Stephen Reisen, Jaime Sharp, Trinity Lee, Sonia Lee, Chris Reid, Ashley Baylor, Randy Engle, and last but certainly not least, Brody Lasch
